Along with some friends, I made my way to South Audley Street, home to London's Marc by Marc Jacobs store. Sarah of City Girl's Fashion Box had some inside information that the store would be giving away free t-shirts, emblazoned with the image from the BANG campaign. However, nothing much was happening when we got there, and after we found out that the event wasn't kicking off until 7pm, we popped along to Bond Street to check out what was going on there, stopping, of course, for some photos along the way.

Bond Street was still pretty quiet at this point, but we popped into DKNY, saw the preparations going on outside Chanel and were greeted in Gucci with free champagne (a lovely waiter offered me a non-alcoholic drink, how sweet!) and the most delicious dark chocolate, complete with the Gucci logo. As we headed back to Marc Jacobs, we saw loads of paparazzi outside Armani, waiting for the likes of Gemma Arterton, Claudia Schiffer and Mr Armani himself.
Back at Marc Jacobs, it was a mad scramble to buy something in order to get the free-t-shirt, and the event proved extremely popular. More free champagne was on offer, and the shop also played host to a pop up photo shoot, where you could re-create the BANG campaign and take home a souvenir printout of your own custom advert. This was such a fantastic idea on the part of Marc Jacobs and was such fun to take part in.

After Marc, we toddled down the road to Christian Louboutin, where a tea party was in full swing. The shop was packed to the rafters, but there was a brilliant atmosphere and live DJ. The shop had been beautifully themed for the evening, with tea cups hanging from the ceiling and the most amazing Louboutin cake on display:
The staff were also handing out free goodies bags (more on that later!)
After this, we walked back to Bond Street via Bruton Street, where more paparazzi were waiting. We popped into Matthew Williamson, which had been beautifully themed as a Moroccan Souk by the man himself, who was hosting the event, along with special guest Jameela Jamil from T4.

Then word then spread that Gwyneth Paltrow would soon be arriving at Stella McCartney, where she was the star guest for the evening. The photographers went mad as soon as she got out of the car, by Gwyneth took it all in her stride and calmly made her way into the store.
